A Download is a message coming to us from another source. Like downloading an application or a song. You can think of Neo receiving his training through downloads.
An Activation is the awakening or 'turning on' of a talent, skill or knowing, that was previously dormant, often in the dna.
You could also imagine the machine in the Matrix was sending 'trigger' messages, that activated the martial arts training that already existed in the dna of the recipient. It really is all theory and the distinction between the two isn't what I find important. What is vital for you to know is that if you're experiencing this, and you're not already doing so, I invite you to engage it, draw it, write it, talk it, and share it. And, equally vital is that you continue on with the rest of your life, because what's coming through needs the rest of you to be here and now for it all to work.
